All drivers, on their first day, receive comprehensive training enabling them to be conversant with all the required areas. We also carry out a DVLA check while the driver is present.
We employ an Operations Compliance Manager who is responsible for all areas associated with the drivers. This includes analysis of both analogue and digital tachograhs and the Working Time Directive.
This is all carries out in-house using Stoneridge equipment linked to our own system allowing access by our management team from all sites. This has been set up to ensure we are at all times adhering to and complying with all relevant aspects that are encompassed under our obligations we uphold for our Operators License.
Our Fleet Engineer maintains a comprehensive maintenance and repair programme for all the fleet at all sites, liaising with supplier and service providers to ensure fleet and driver safety. This guards against breakdown and keeps equipment downtime to a minimum.
Monitoring of the different types and makes of vehicles and trailers help us to achieve our expectations.
