Shipley Transport operate a varied range of vehicles including 7.5 Tonne, 18 Tonne, 26 Tonne and, 44 Tonne articulated vehicles. The main core of our work is carried out by articulated vehicles, and we have sufficient stand trailers strategically placed at various clients premises, to efficiently reduce loading/unloading waiting times. Vehicles and trailers are fully equipped to safely and securely transport your products. The maintenance of the fleet is undertaken via our own workshop, along with the relevant vehicle main dealers.

Tail-lift Vehicles
Tail-lift vehicles are now taken very much for granted within the transport industry and Shipley Transport are no exception to this. We offer Tail-lift services on all our vehicles, including our articulated trailers and inner-city trailers, with a maximum of 1000kgs lifting capacity.

Trailer and Vehicle Mounted Forklifts
The invention of the truck mounted fork-lift has revolutionised the distribution industry. The forklift can be carried on the rear of the vehicle or trailer, without any loss of carrying space. In less than one minute the forklift can dismount and be ready for work, making the vehicle and driver completely self sufficient. The driver can then unload the product to wherever the customer wishes.

Inner City "Urban" Trailers
Inner City or Urban trailers as they are known, are the complete solution to delivering around busy cities and limited access locations. The trailers are significantly shorter in length, and allow transportation in excess of 30 pallets with an increased pay-load. These trailers are used in multi-drop situations and are all equipped with Tail-lift facilities.
