Express route to logistics skills
The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) has launched an Express Logistics Higher Apprenticeship Level 5 in conjunction with Hull College, the National Apprenticeship Service, Skills for Logistics .
Designed specifically for express logistics, time-sensitive supply chains, and cross deck operations, it has been described as the first of its kind.
Due to employer demand, the apprenticeship has been developed to produce the next generation of operations managers.  It allows organisations to form a progression route for current employees whilst extending any existing training already in place.
