Weekly summary of roadworks for M25

A13 Mardyke Viaduct

Overnight repairs and resurfacing on the A13 Mardyke viaduct - which runs between the M25 junction 31 and 30 roundabouts, near Thurrock in Essex – continue this week.
The £1m scheme to repair drainage and to replace the waterproofing on the northbound viaduct involves nightly lane and carriageway closures, both on the viaduct itself and the anti-clockwise exit slip road at junction 30 of the M25.
The viaduct will be closed from the M25 junction 31 roundabout to the junction 30 roundabout each night this week between 10pm and 6am, with road users directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the A1306 and A13. On Friday nights work will start at 11pm. The anti-clockwise exit slip road at junction 30 of the M25 will also be closed during these times, with a fully signed diversion route in place via junction 29.
M25 Junction 3
The clockwise entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight on Tuesday 9 October between 10pm and 5am for litter clearance. Drivers seeking to use the entry slip road will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 2. Drivers seeking to use the exit slip road will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 4.
M25 Junction 7
The clockwise link road to the northbound M23 will be closed overnight for two nights from Tuesday 9 October between 10pm and 5am for sign maintenance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 8.
M25 Junction 9
The clockwise exit slip road will be closed overnight for three nights from Monday 8 October between 10pm and 5am for carriageway repair work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 10.
M25 Junction 16
The anti-clockwise link road to the eastbound M40 will be closed overnight on Tuesday 9 October between 10pm and 5am for electrical works. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the westbound M40 to junction 2.
M25 Junction 22
The clockwise entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight on Monday 8 October between 10pm and 5am for litter clearance. Drivers seeking to use the entry slip road will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 21a. Drivers seeking to use the exit slip road will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 23.
M25 Junction 22
The anti-clockwise entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight on Tuesday 9 October between 10pm and 5am for litter clearance. Drivers seeking to use the entry slip road will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 23. Drivers seeking to use the exit slip road will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 21a.
M25 Junction 29
The anti-clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight on Tuesday 9 October between 10pm and 5am for electrical work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 28.
M1 Junction 5
The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight on Wednesday 10 October between 10pm and 5am for drainage work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 6.
M4 Junction 3
Sections of the junction roundabout will be closed for six nights from Thursday 11 October between 10pm and 5.30am for carriageway repairs. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the A312 to the A4 to M4 junction 4.
M11 Junction 6
The northbound link road to the anti-clockwise M25 will be closed overnight for two nights from Friday 12 October between 11pm and 5am for tunnel maintenance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the clockwise M25 carriageway to junction 28.
A1(M) Junction 2
The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight on Thursday 11 October between 10pm and 5am for electrical work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route to M25 junction 22 via local roads.

The northbound entry slip road to the eastbound A13 will be closed overnight on Friday 12 October between 11pm and 5am for electrical work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the westbound A13 to the A1012.

The southbound entry slip road from Wisley will be closed overnight on Wednesday 10 October between 10pm and 5am for electrical works. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via Painshill.

The eastbound exit slip road to the M25 will be closed overnight on Monday 8 October between 10pm and 5am for electrical works. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 2.
