Planned roadworks in and around M25
Weekly summary for Monday HIGHWAYS AGENCY News Release issued 19 April 2013
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 19 April but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
M1 Junction 1, Staples Corner, London: Inspection
The elevated northbound entry slip road for the M1 junction 1 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Tuesday 23 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via Staples Corner Roundabout.
M1 Junction 3, London Gateway Services: Carriageway repairs
The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Wednesday 24 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via M1 junction 5 and return.

M1 Junction 6a, Hertfordshire: Carriageway repairs
The southbound link road to clockwise M25 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for two nights from Monday 22 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via M1 junction 6 to M25.

M1 Junction 6a, Hertfordshire: Litter clearance
The southbound link road to the anti-clockwise M25 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Thursday 25 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via M1 junction 6 to M25.

M4, Junction 3 to Junction 1, Hounslow/Brentford: Drainage work
There will be a full eastbound carriageway closure from junction 3 to junction 1 overnight between 10pm and 5am for four nights from Monday 22 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the A4.

M25 Junction 2, Kent: Litter clearance
The link road from the anti-clockwise M25 to the westbound A2 will be closed between 10pm and 5am overnight on Thursday 25 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the Darenth and Bean interchange.

M25, Junction 3, Kent: Resurfacing
The link road from the clockwise M25 to the eastbound M20 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for five nights from Friday 26 April. On Friday night work will start at 11pm.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the junction 3 roundabout.

M25 Junction 5 to 6, Sevenoaks to Godstone, Kent/Surrey: Major improvement
Narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit are in place, with a free recovery service operating 24 hours a day. There will be additional overnight lane and slip road closures as required.

M25 Junction 6, Surrey: Litter clearance
The anti-clockwise entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Wednesday 24 April.
Clearly signed diversion routes will be in place.

M25 Junction 12, Surrey: Electrical work
Both link roads from the clockwise M25 to the northbound and southbound M3 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Monday 22 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via junction 13 and return.

M25 Junction 14, Heathrow: Sign maintenance
The anti-clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Monday 22 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the A3044, A30 to M25 junction 13.

M25 Junction 17, Hertfordshire: Expansion joint replacement
The anti-clockwise exit slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for three nights from Monday 22 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the A404, A412 and A405.

M25 Junction 17, Hertfordshire: Expansion joint replacement
The clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for three nights from Monday 22 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via A412 and A404 to junction 18.

M25 Junction 21a, Hertfordshire: Litter clearance
The clockwise exit slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Tuesday 23 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via junction 22.

M25 Junction 21a, Hertfordshire: Litter clearance
The anti-clockwise entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Wednesday 24 April.
Clearly signed diversion routes will be in place.

M25 Junctions 23 to 27, Hertfordshire to Essex: Major improvement
Narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit are in place on both carriageways between junctions 23 and 25, with a free recovery service operating 24 hours a day until spring 2014, when work will move to junctions 25-27.
There will be additional lane and slip road closures as required.

M25 Junction 24, Hertfordshire: Barrier repairs
The clockwise exit slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for two nights from Tuesday 23 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place to junction 25 and return.

M25 Junction 25, Hertfordshire: Tunnel maintenance and barrier repairs
The clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for three nights from Friday 26 April for tunnel maintenance. On Friday night work will start at 11pm.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via junction 24.
The anti-clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight for two nights from Wednesday 24 April for barrier repairs. On Wednesday the closure will be between 1am and 5.30am, on Thursday it will be between 10pm and 5.30am A clearly signed diversion will be in place to junction 26 and return.

M25 Junction 25-26, Essex: Tunnel maintenance
There will be lane closures on the clockwise M25 for three nights from Friday 26 April. On Friday night the closure will be between 11pm and 5.30am, on Saturday night between 10pm and 5.30am, on Sunday night between 10.30pm and 5.30am.

M25 Junction 26-27, Essex: Survey work
There will be lane closures in both directions overnight between 10pm and 5.30am on Thursday 25 April.

M25 Junction 26-25, Essex: Resurfacing
There will be lane closures on the anti-clockwise M25 overnight between 10pm and 5.30pm on Thursday 25 April.

M25 Junction 28, Essex: Carriageway sweeping
The anti-clockwise entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Monday 22 April.
Clearly signed diversion routes will be in place.

M25 Junction 28, Essex: Carriageway sweeping
The clockwise entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Tuesday 23 April.
Clearly signed diversion routes will be in place.

M25 Junction 29, Essex: Structure maintenance
The clockwise and anti-clockwise carriageways will be closed between the exit and entry slip roads at junction 29 between 10pm and 5am for three nights from Wednesday 24 April. On Friday night work will start at 11pm.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the exit and entry slip roads at junction 29.

M25 Junction 30, Essex: Structure maintenance
The clockwise and anti-clockwise carriageways will be closed between the exit and entry slip roads at junction 30 between 10pm and 5am for three nights from Wednesday 24 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the exit and entry slip roads at junction 30.
A1(M) Junction 4, Hatfield, Hertfordshire: Electrical work
The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am for five nights from Monday 22 April. On Friday night work will start at 11pm.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via A1001.

A2, Kent: Litter clearance
The link road from the eastbound A2 to the M25 junction 2 will be closed between 10pm and 5am on Tuesday 23 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the Darenth and Bean interchange.

The eastbound entry and exit slip roads for the A2018 will be closed overnight between 11pm and 5am on Friday 26 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the Darenth and Bean interchange.

A2, Kent: Litter clearance
The westbound entry slip road from M25 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Thursday 25 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the Darenth and Bean interchange.

A13, Essex: Litter clearance
The westbound entry slip road from the A1012 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Monday 22 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the A128.
A13, Essex: Litter clearance
The eastbound exit slip road to the southbound A1089 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Wednesday 24 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the A128.
The westbound exit slip road for the A1306 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Wednesday 24 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the A311, Ferry Lane.
The westbound slip road to the southbound A1089 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Thursday 25 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the A1012 and return.
A40, Denham, Buckinghamshire: Resurfacing
The southwest quadrant of the Denham roundabout will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am on Thursday 25 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the A40.
A1089, Essex: Litter clearance
The link road from the northbound A1089 to the eastbound A13 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Thursday 25 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place.
The southbound entry slip road from the A126 will be closed overnight between 11pm and 5am on Friday 26 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via local roads to the Asda roundabout.
The southbound exit slip road for the A126 will be closed between 11pm and 5am on Friday 26 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via Marshfoot Road and Asda roundabout.

A282, Junction 1a, Kent: Resurfacing work
The anti-clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am on Wednesday 24 April.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place.

A282 (M25) Dartford – Thurrock Crossing
