RHA looks to give parliamentary freight group more prominence
With an intern for the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Freight Transport beginning his work last week, RHA chief executive Geoff Dunning said: “One of the reasons we have funded this staff member is that we want the group to be more active, and give the freight sector a more prominent role in parliament.”
Sam Humphries will support the role of the APPG, which is chaired by Rob Flello MP.
He added that Humphries’ role will see him getting MPs involved in the group, targeting those with a high concentration of haulage and logistics firms in their constituency.
