VOSA test timing exercise

VOSA test timing exercise
In a bid to ensure we have up to date, accurate timings, VOSA has commissioned a work measurement study of Heavy Goods and Public Service Vehicle Annual testing.  The last time VOSA carried out timing exercises was in 2006 and 2008.
Accounting for over 50 per cent of all annual tests, the study will focus on work carried out at Authorised Testing Facilities (ATF), but will also include observations at VOSA’s own premises in the exercise.
With observations starting in January 2013 and completing in May 2013, the locations to be visited will be selected by the Department for Transport’s own In House Analytical Consultancy (IHAC) to ensure a random statistically correct sample is captured.
