25th March 2013 summary of roadworks for M25

M25 junctions 5 to 6
Work continues this week on an upgrade to the central reservation barrier along the M25 between junctions 5 (Sevenoaks) and 6 (Godstone), ahead of a major improvement project scheduled to start this spring. Narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit are in place, with a free recovery service operating 24 hours a day. There will be additional lane and slip road closures as required, which will be carried out overnight when traffic flow is lowest.
M25 junctions 23 to 27
Work continues this week on a major upgrade for the M25 on the Hertfordshire/Essex border. Narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit are in place on both carriageways between junctions 23 and 25, with a free recovery service operating 24 hours a day until spring 2014, when work will move to junctions 25-27. There will be additional lane and slip road closures as required, which will be carried out overnight when traffic flow is lowest.
M25 junction 21a
The clockwise exit slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Wednesday 27 March for electrical work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 22.
M25 junction 25
The anti-clockwise exit slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for three nights on Monday 25 March for site clearance and barrier work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 24.
The clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am on Tuesday 26 March for barrier work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route to junction 24.
M1 junction 2
The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am for three nights from Monday 25 March for structure maintenance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the A1 and A41 to junction 4.
The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am for two nights from Tuesday 26 March for structure maintenance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 1.
M1 junction 6a
The southbound M1 link road to the clockwise M25 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for three nights from Monday 25 March for carriageway repairs. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 6.
M11 junction 4
The eastbound A406 link road to the northbound M11 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for three nights from Monday 25 March for structure maintenance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the Redbridge roundabout.
M11 junction 6
The southbound M11 link road to the clockwise M25 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am for three nights from Monday 25 March for electrical work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the M25 junction 26.
A1(M) junction 2
The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am for two nights from Tuesday 26 March for inspections/surveys. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route to junction 4 via the A1000 and A1001.
A282 junction 1a
The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am for five nights from Monday 25 March for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 1b.
