3rd April 2013 summary of roadworks for M25

M25 junctions 5 to 6
Work continues this week on an upgrade to the central reservation barrier along the M25 between junctions 5 (Sevenoaks) and 6 (Godstone), ahead of a major improvement project scheduled to start this spring. Narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit are in place, with a free recovery service operating 24 hours a day. There will be additional lane and slip road closures as required, which will be carried out overnight when traffic flow is lowest.
M25 junctions 23 to 27
Work continues this week on a major upgrade for the M25 on the Hertfordshire/Essex border. Narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit are in place on both carriageways between junctions 23 and 25, with a free recovery service operating 24 hours a day until spring 2014, when work will move to junctions 25-27. There will be additional lane and slip road closures as required, which will be carried out overnight when traffic flow is lowest.
M25 junction 17
The clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for 15 nights from Friday 5 April to replace bridge expansion joints. On Friday night work will start at 11pm. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route to junction 18 via the A412 and A404.
M25 junction 19
The clockwise exit slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Wednesday 3 April for carriageway repairs. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 20.
M25 junction 21a
The clockwise and anti-clockwise M25 link roads to the northbound M1 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for three nights from Tuesday 2 April for technology work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route to the A405 via junction 21a and to M1 junction 8 via the A414.
The anti-clockwise M25 link road to the northbound M1 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am for seven nights from Friday 5 April to replace bridge expansion joints. On Friday nights work will start at 11pm. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route to the M1 junction 6 via the A405.
M25 junction 23
The clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Thursday 4 April for site clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 22.
M25 junction 24
The clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am on Saturday 6 April for carriageway upgrades and improvements. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 23.
M25 junction 25
The clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for five nights from Wednesday 3 April for tunnel maintenance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route to junction 24.
M25 junction 25 to 23
The anti-clockwise M25 between junctions 25 and 23 overnight between 10pm and 6am on Saturday 6 April for overhead gantry removal. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the A10, A406, and A1 to rejoin the M25 at junction 23.
M1 junction 6
The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10.30pm and 5.30am for three nights from Tuesday 2 April for technology work. Road users will be directed to follow a full signed diversion route via the A40 and A414 to junction 8.

The eastbound entry slip road to the A1306 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Wednesday 3 April for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route to the A311, Ferry Lane and return.

The westbound entry slip road to the A1089 southbound will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Thursday 4 April for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the A1012 junction.

The westbound A13 link road to the clockwise M25 entry slip at the M25 junction 31 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Saturday 6 April for structure maintenance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 30.

The westbound A2 link road to the northbound A282 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Tuesday 2 April for electrical work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the junction 2 roundabout.
A3
The northbound entry slip road for Wisley will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Tuesday 2 April for electrical work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the Ockham junction.
